GeoPress Lite takes the benefits of easy packaging and automatic labeling from GeoPress in a more compact and configurable format.

GeoPress Lite consists of a manual press with an integrated RFID scanner to quickly store and label soil samples as you collect them in the field. GeoPress Lite can be used in conjunction with a separate soil grinder to quickly blend and homogenize soil samples before they are packaged in the GeoTubes.

You will need GeoTubes in order to use a GeoPress. Only purchase a GeoPress without the Geotubes if you already own GeoTubes.

How is the Lite different from the original GeoPress?

GeoPress Lite is a light-weight alternative for those who want the benefits of Radicle Soil Sampling and automatic packaging/labelling without the big footprint and grinding capabilities of GeoPress Ultra.

The GeoPress Lite is modular. A grinder and mounting plate can be bought separately.

How does it work?

  • Get a GeoPress

    Purchase a GeoPress/GeoPress Lite and GeoTube sample containers directly from Radicle Agronomics.

  • Download the App

    Download the Radicle Agronomics App on your mobile devices and visit www.radicle.ag to access the web portal. Login using the same credentials.

  • Collect Soil Samples

    Fields and sampling maps can be created or imported in minutes using the Radicle App. Go to the field and collect your soil samples, let GeoPress take care of the sample packaging and labelling for you.

  • Send Samples to Radicle Lab

    You will be connected to a Radicle Lab through the account setup process. Once your samples are collected, send them to your Radicle Lab location to have them analyzed.

    Ship to Lab 

  • See your analysis results

    Analysis results automatically flow back into your Radicle App account. Results can then be exported out of the Radicle App to take to your preferred FMIS software for prescription creation.

What is the difference between GeoPress and GeoPress Lite? 

  • GeoPress automates the sample collection process from grinding the soil, to loading, filling, and labelling GeoTubes while you're on the go. GeoPress holds 12 tubes at a time.
  • With GeoPress Lite, the soil sample packaging process is done manually, and only one GeoTube is loaded at a time.

Does GeoPress Lite need power? 

Yes, there are different power harness options available to connect to the vehicle battery, or into anauxiliary power outlet.

Does GeoPress Lite grind and blend soil before packaging? 

No, the Lite model only packages soil into GeoTubes, but you can purchase a separate grinder and mounting plate to pair the two together.

Is GeoPress a soil collection device? 

No, GeoPress only packages and labels your collected soil samples into a GeoTube. 

How do I keep track of where I’ve sampled? 

The Radicle App creates grid maps and tracks sample locations via RFID labels on GeoTubes.

Can GeoPress work without the Radicle App? 

No, GeoPress must be used in conjunction with the Radicle App to enable RFID location mapping and read results.
The Radicle App connects to the GeoPress via Bluetooth.
